Comfort overshadowed by noise

The friendly staff made us feel at home. The room was spacious, and we enjoyed the nearby eateries just a short walk away.

Unfortunately, we had a noisy morning with barking dogs next door, and it disrupted our sleep. Ear plugs only helped so much.

A strong match for taking strolls in Ashland with good value for cost. The breakfast had hot waffles and pancakes that really hit the spot. Make sure to get there early to avoid the crowds.

the best western was a lovely stay! the staff was super friendly, especially the front desk. we loved the large outdoor swimming pool and how close the hotel was to downtown for dinner. breakfast was also amazing with a variety of options. the shuttle service to town made our trip even better!

Checked in and Ryan was a total gem! My room had a cozy, vintage vibe with double sinks. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. Free breakfast was cool, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Only bummer was the heating—took forever to warm up after arriving in the cold. Definitely an adventure!

great stay with easy access to food and parks

my experience here was fantastic, as the free shuttle service to the Shakespeare Festival was a great perk. I loved how just a few steps away I could find Luna Cafe for a quick bite or enjoy the beautiful views at Lithia Park, both perfect for my weekend strolls.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay! The breakfast was delicious, especially the oatmeal and the automatic pancakes. The pool was a great way to unwind after long days. However, the hot tub was lukewarm, which was a letdown. I'd definitely return for the comfy room and those awesome breakfast offerings!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The clean, spacious king room was perfect for unwinding after visiting local restaurants. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious scrambled eggs and bacon. Take advantage of the shuttle for easy trips into town. Friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

If you're into local bites, Luna Cafe & Mercantile is a stone's throw away, serving up delicious eats. I chowed down at Caldera Brewery, and wow! Their brews paired perfectly with a hearty meal. Plus, the staff at Best Western were super accommodating and really made the stay worthwhile. I give a shout out to the coffee too—it hit the right spot!

That said, my room had a bit of a funky smell and felt darker than a cave. Those creaky beds? Every move was a wake-up call, and the breakfast lineup was pretty lackluster—nothing to write home about. But overall, it was still a solid stop in Ashland!
